James Sanford

Practice Areas:

Jim litigates employment matters on behalf of plaintiffs in state and federal court, on appeal to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and before federal and state agencies.  He has successfully represented individual clients in their claims under state and federal civil rights laws, from Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Texas Commission on Human Rights Act, to the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and Americans with Disabilities Act.  He has also represented clients in contract and employment-benefits disputes.  Additionally, Jim represents classes of individuals in vindicating rights to a minimum and overtime wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
